The University of Central Arkansas is pleased to welcome the Arkansas Political Science Association to campus for its 50th annual meeting.

We have some great speakers lined up for you at this year’s ArkPSA. On Friday evening Dr. Sara Wallace Goodman, professor of Political Science at University of California-Irvine will speak with us about her work on citizenship, immigration, the politics of belonging, and the impact the Pandemic. On Saturday, our speaker will be UCA alum, Ben Hovland. Mr. Hovland is a commissioner at the Election Assistance Commission in Washington DC. He is returning to UCA to speak with us on matters involving developments in election security heading into the 2024 cycle.
Hotel reservations and conference registrations:
Please note that the conference hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn in Conway, AR and the conference pricing is available until February 17, 2023. Please register before then to receive the discount.
Please read the details in the registration form carefully as there has been a small change to our on-site registration policy this year. If one is included on the program, they will need to purchase a registration. This does not apply to presenters who have had to withdraw ahead of the conference.
We will not be able to accept cash. We will only take credit cards (via paypal) and checks. We will have both options available at on-site registration. Thank you in advance.
Waivers: applications for registration waivers are first come, first served, and are limited. Waiver requests need to be submitted to Dr. Chris Housenick at chousenick@atu.edu. Please have your application submitted no later than February 17, 2023.
