Dr. Donald M. Gooch, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Stephen F. Austin State University and longtime member of ArkPSA, received the Best Paper Award from Political Science Education section of the American Political Science Association for his 2017 APSA conference paper entitled, “Structuring Civic Education: Assessing Civic Literacy Retention and Curricular Sequencing”.
